Setting up alarm clock on Ipod Touch to play music

I would like to set up the alarm clock to turn on music from a playlist instead of using the sound effects. Is there a way?

I pod Touch, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Page 88 of the manual:

"To choose the ringtone that sounds when the alarm goes off, tap Sound. "

Unless they changed something I don't know about, it is not possible to use your music instead of the generic alarm sounds.

i'm with biikman. as far as i know it's not possible.
many people have asked about it though. send apple some feedback, it might come in future:
