CD Bezel for DVD Drive?

I accidentally broke my DVD bezel on my 466 lime clamshell. Can I replace it with a lime CD bezel or do I need to find one that specifically says DVD bezel?

466MHz iBook G3 Clamshell SE in Key Lime 60G HDD 320MB RAM, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

they should be interchangeable. it's the mechanism itself that changes foe cd or dvd. in the parts section, ifixit has pics of both & they look the same.

as long as yours comes off or would come off like this,the new one will fit:

Maybe fixing your old bezel with hot glue will do the trick (works also to re-attach it to the drive as log as you leave out the electronic parts such as the eject button).

Hello There, as far as I know the attachments are different on CD and DVD bezels so you may spend money and find that you can't fit the new CD bezel. If I were you I would try and repair your old bezel first.

The drive and bezel is still functional, and I have tried repairing it with glue, but no dice. I'm thinking about trying again, but just in case, does anyone know for certain if CD and DVD bezels have different connection points?

The CD Bezel is different from the DVD in the way it mounts to the face of the drive with plastic tabs, the 2 won't interchange, you must make sure you get an OEM one for whichever drive your have be it CD or DVD.
