Discover IP address of attached devices?

In Airport utility, select your Airport Extreme. Using manual setup, click on the Advanced button on the toolbar. At the bottom of the screen click the button for Logs and Statistics. Select the button for Wireless clients and/or DHCP Clients to see MAC addresses and IP Addresses for devices connected to your router.

All clients provided an IP address, by the AirPort Extreme Base Station's (AEBS) DHCP service, can be found by using the AirPort Utility.

AirPort Utility > Manual Setup > Advanced > Logging & SNMP > Logs and Statistics > DHCP Clients

A list of each connected client is provided along with their respective MAC address (and Client ID if previously configured).

In AirPort Utility, click on Manual Setup, then click on the Advanced icon at the top of the pane and click again on Logs and Statistics.

Wireless and DHCP clients should be displayed by their MAC address and IP address.

I am trying to set up my Powerbook to a FIOS wireless router and it will not connect. Error says AIPORT assigns own IP may not connect. I can't seem to find any help. When I hardwire there is no problem. FIOS support sends me to Mac support. Can anyone help with this? Comcast had no problems with a cheap router.

Are you saying that you are trying to connect to the wireless system created by the FIOS router?

If so, try to disable the FIOS wireless security temporarily and see if you can connect that way. Post back on your results.

I have a similar problem but looking at the 'Logs and Statistics' section only shows me the MAC addresses (besides my laptop) of 2 other wireless devices in the 'wireless clients' section but no info on those 2 other devices (wireless PVR's) in the DHCP clients section. Can anyone tell me how to find out the ip addresses of these 2 other devices. I tried connecting 1 via a cat 5 but that one still doesn't show up in the DHCP clients section.
Can you assign a particular ip address to a wireless device so that it will always maintain that address and not have the router assign new ones.
