Use */Applications/AppleScript/AppleScript Utility* to install the script menu, if you don't have it already. Then use *Finder Scripts > Add to File Names*.
Alternatively, it is very easy to do that sort of thing with Automator.

sorry but I've tried this by clicking on "Show Script Menu in menu bar" and yet "Scripts" does not seem to appear in the menu bar for Folders, Saved Search Folders, or Finder Folders...is there an extra step to install the script menu??
The Scripts menu is on the right end of the menu bar, near the clock and the Spotlight menu. It has an icon rather than the word "Scripts". The icon is supposed to look like a scroll.
