Get Album and Song Info AFTER Import?

Connect your laptop to the to the internet, highlight the album tracks you've imported tracks and go to Advanced>Get CD Track names: iTunes for Mac- If you don't see the names of songs

Do be aware that this will only work if you imported the entire CD - if individual tracks then you are stuck with entering the information manually.

simply use "gimme some tune".it gets all the information you need.even lyrics.
and when it comes to rippeng cd`s,symply forget the itunes decoder.it is a schame how poor the quality of itunes is when it comes to ripping and conversion into mp3.
do yourself a favour and yous itunes-lame.
it is very simple,integrates into itunes and the quality is extreme good because it uses the lame-mp3 decoder.

I brought my laptop in to work today and I am hoping iTunes will use the internet connection here to find info about the songs, albums etc.

Could it be that your network at work is blocking access to the iTunes Store? It would not exactly be unknown for a network admin - acting on the orders of company bosses - to do this.
