Quadro FX 4500 on a Mac Pro

Hi guys, i was wandering if my quadro fx 4500 i have on a Power mac G5 Dual 2.3 will work on a new Mac Pro.
The new mac pro is shipped with gForce or with Radeon, don´t you think that the quadro fx 4500 with 512Mb ram is still better then those two new cards?
I know that the radeon also has 512Mb but ddr5 ram, but i also know that the professional card from Ati are the Fire´s....!
I´m still not sure.
Thanks!

iMac 24" 3.06Mhz 4Gb, Mac OS X (10.5.6), Power mac dual 2.3

You could mention that Nvidia is coming out with an FX 4800, along with GTX 285.

The GTX 285 seems to still be under wraps but expected to come out in June. And nothing happens exactly when it's suppose to let alone on time.

Barefeats has most of the test comparisions but even the FX4800 hasn't seen the light of day. A) needs more work and new drivers and OS revision? is really being aimed at something for OpenCL to exploit perhaps.

G5 = Open Fimrware, Mac is now EFI
