IPHONE 3G SDK 2.2.1 & 3.0 for those app developers out there

You need to learn C language thoroughly, and then C+. This will take a few months to a year or more, depending on how much time you have and your prior coding knowledge. This isn't scripting or a markup language like HTML.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one out there who did this... I guess we're a bunch of itchy fingered men... as far as I've learnt, the tutorial videos that you can access on the ADC portal are the only elaborate ones that you can rely on.
Other than these, there are some other third party ones which are in collaboration with Apple by Standford University. You will find this on iTunes U. Just search for 'iPhone application programming' on iTunes and you'd easily find the videos...

This is definitely NOT a beginners course: The listed prerequisites:

+"C language and programming experience at the level of 106B or X: UNIX, object-oriented programming, graphical toolkits"+

The course itself takes 10 weeks, assuming you have the prerequisite background.

You would need to learn Objective C and being familiar with Smalltalk doesn't hurt either.

And you need a Mac with an Intel processor running 10.5.x for the SDK.
