Windows DVD Maker won't recognize iTunes downloads

if you mean items posted from the itunes store then i'm sorry there is nothing you can do about it. the tracks are authorized by itunes and only work on certain apple products. they won't play on the windows dvd maker as they are protected. But apple have changed the way the itunes score works so now they will offer tracks to buy that has no protection. but this will mean buying your songs again and i'm not entirely sure if tracks are still protected , have changed or are going to change soon.

Windows DVD Maker can use files in MP3 format. Since you will be using your music both for iTunes and other purposes, please assure that all music you purchase or rip is in MP3 format.
