Do you know of the reason why windows wont put them in order they were taken? does the iphone not keep any date-stamp?
No I don't. I use iPhoto on my Mac for importing photos from a digital camera including from my iPhone's camera roll, and all photos are placed in the order they were taken based on my iPhoto preference setting for this, which includes additional options for photo placement. The iPhone includes a data stamp for when photos were captured.
oh and I just tried to restore my phone again, away from my old back-up files and it crashed again.. lol.. this is very very odd..
Then your iPhone may have a hardware issue that restoring the firmware will not resolve.
and yes, we are going to try and load up windows 7 later today. he has been using it on his pc without any issues
Good, which doesn't mean there won't be any issues. Windows 7 is still a BETA and is not currently supported by Apple.
