MacBook Pro turns off at 82% every time

Purchased June 2008. MacBook Pro works fine when plugged in. On battery works fine until 82% when computer shuts off unprompted. Happens every time. Recently reset my hard drive at suggestion of Apple Genius to take care of driver issues. Still have the same problem. Here are specs.

I have a PowerBook G4 whose battery consistently shuts off in the neighborhood of 60 percent, although the overall health and status number are nearly as good as yours. An Apple Genius said that constant shutdowns at or near the same charge level often indicates a failing or failed cell within the battery. They did nothing on that one because the computer was clearly nearly six years old and most batteries don't last that long.

You should still be under warranty--get to an Apple store and let them see the shutdown if the SMC reset does not get you running properly.
