Got some files from a customer that was recorded using a Sony Hi-MD Walkman MZ-RH10 (Why, you may ask...?!). Ok, just re-record direct from the headset out is possible, but not optimal. So I got these proprietary ***.HMA files (only one of them is large, so I guess it's a package system) that I would like to read - or at least be able to convert to a more known file format. A PC app called SonicStage are used to manage this recorders content, but it's PC only. Anyone that know about a Mac/.HMA converter???
G5 Dual 1.8 / 3GB RAM / Fabric carrying strap...,
Mac OS X (10.5.6),
Logic Pro 8.0.2/ProTools 7.4.2 HD2 Accel/192 IO
A PC seems to be the route anyway, for both apps.....SonicStage (now version 4.3) and the HIMDRenderer (version 1.00). Got them both downloaded, but got no PC....yet. Just to BORROW a PC for doing this job is as far as I can go ;-))
