Lotus Notes - how can I view my corporate Lotus e-mails on my iphone?

I am sure I am not the only one out there that would like to use the iPhone to check mail on a Lotus Notes Server. I know that IBM has a web portal that will allow you to check mail, but not calendar settings. That is fine with me. Can anyone tell me the website, or the steps that are involved in setting this up?

I have seen MANY postings from people looking for this info, but most do not list the steps, or the website (Safari) to go to.

Thanks,
JG

took a bit of searching, but if you go on apple.com from your iPhone, tap "iPhone" at the top, then scroll down to the bottom. under "more iPhone", choose "web apps". then on the left hand side, choose "productivity"...to be easier, choose "alphabetical" then scroll to "IBM Lotus iNotes"...from there, choose it to be a web app and then you can "bookmark" it or save the link to the home screen

Ok.. Well I'm no expert, but..

My University uses Lotus Notes for their email system...

All that I have to do is go to the website on my iPhone where I would normally log-in to my email...

Enter my Username and Password...

Then a page comes up that says... "Domino Web Access has not been certified to work with this browser. 'Try Domino Web Access anyway' 'Use Lotus iNotes ultralite mode' 'Use Webmail'"

Clicking Use Lotus iNotes ultralite mode takes me to the exact same format as shown in the video linked to in the post above...

Hope this helps!?..

Jake

I am using "Notes Pro for Lotus Notes" application available in AppStore. It costs a bit but it's worth the money since it solves the problem of viewing your Lotus Notes mail on iPhone completely. It requires Lotus Notes agent to be installed, but there is a step-by-step guide on how to create one - if I was able to manage it, I am sure everybody can 😉. It works (almost) perfectly for email, calendar, contacts and to-dos. You cannot view attachments and sometimes the emial is not displayed completely (especially for extremely long emails that I have no patience to read anyway), but that's minor and I am five-star happy with that.
