Problem with UTstarcom wifi router on macbook

Hi

I am in India and trying to access the internet on my macbook using the UTStarcom wifi modem on my BSNL broadband connection.

Although the macbook recognizes the network, I am unable to access the internet. Network Diag is also not helping.

Are there any extra settings that I need?

FYI, for the PC, I was provided with a dialler on the desktop with a username & password. Do I need to input this info somewhere on the mac and is yes, then where exactly.
