TextEdit reinstall

Question

TextEdit reinstall

I need to reinstall TextEdit but cannot find it in any packages on either of my installation disks.....the disks are 10.4.8 and I'm running 10.4.11...where do I find it, either on disks or to download??

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Try downloading and running Pacifist and extracting it from your install disk.

Already tried that...no textedit package found tried it on 10.3 install disks also and no Textedit found there either....
