10.5.7 frozen at Running Installer Script

I am a new MAC user. I installed the 10.5.7 update, and after it was done installing, I restarted the computer. However, its been hung up on the Running Installer Script screen for about an hour now. How do I fix this? Will I need to reinstall the 10.5.7 update again?

IMAC, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Exact same problem as me. Simple fix.

Hold down power button to force shutdown.
Startup
Go to apple support and download 10.5.7 update.
Run it manually. You'll never see that problem again. If I'm wrong I'll buy you a Corvette.
