9600GT Has Gone Kaput?...What now?
Everything has been fine since I got my MBP (Late 2008) back 3 days after it released, but today I was playing WoW (9600 GT enabled) and within 30-40 seconds of play, the screen went black and I had to forcefully shut down my laptop. Now, I tried again, and yielded the same result, black screen. Is this indicative of the faulty GPU that apple has released statements about?
Furthermore, I am still under my 1 year warranty, if I take it into the genius bar and determine that my GPU is indeed faulty, what will they do? Will they repair it? Issue me a new machine? I suppose I am looking for anyone who has experience with this endeavor or knows what the next step is.
