Jawbone on MPB

Does anyone know if the jawbone headset works with the macbook pro? I had a Motorola bluetooth headset a couple years back and i could never get it to work on the MPB.

Sure. I use mine with Skype ...

Follow the Jawbone's instructions to pair it with your Mac.

Turn the Jawbone OFF.

Use the Mac's Bluetooth Assistant to ADD a new headset - but DON’T press “Continue” yet.

On the Jawbone, press and hold the ‘NOISE SHIELD BUTTON’ for 3 seconds until the LED status indicator alternately flashes white and red. This means Jawbone is now in pairing mode.

On the Mac, press “Continue.” The Setup Assistant will display ‘Jawbone’ when it "finds" it. Select it and “Continue.”

Th Mac will prompt for a passkey. The paskey is four zeros, 0000.

After the pairing is successful, under the Bluetooth icon in your toolbar, “Jawbone” will be an option to use as a headset. Select “Use Headset.”

And don't forget to tell Skype of your audio options!
