Manage Custom Sizes is greyed out

Hi,

I would like to make a page to a custom size. This worked for me before, but now when I open a new page and then go to Page Setup, I see that "Manage Custom Sizes" is greyed out and I can only select from 4 or 5 different options (the main ones such as A4 / US Letter / US Legal etc....

What can I do to create and select a custom size?

Thanks!

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

He is referring to:

+Menu > File > Page Setup > Paper Size: > Manage Custom Sizes+

__________

It is possible you have locked the Print & Fax settings for that printer and it will not let you change them.

Or possibly there is a Permissions issue which is something that frequently plagues us in OSX. In other words you have lost the permissions for the settings file and again it won't let you alter them.

Check the first in

+Menu > Finder > System Preferences > Print & Fax+

and for the 2nd use +Applications / Utilities / Disk Utility+ to fix your permissions.

It is a little difficult as I can't see your setup and it is working fine for me. I tried varying the templates and switching between Word Processing and Layout mode but they are all working fine.
