Itunes on the Psp?

Recently I've gotten myself a psp(playstation portable) which not only plays games but allows you to put stuff on it such as images, videos, and music(Alot like a gameboy and ipod put together) and I tried to put my music from itunes on it but almost none of them showed up on my psp. After doing a lot of searching I found out it's because the music files are protected, in short my question is "Is there any way to play my music from itunes on my psp, or un-protect the files to make them work on it?"

Those "protected" files that were sold in the iTunes Store are only usable in Apple products. They will not work in a PSP. And the protection cannot be legally removed, although for a small fee you can get them upgraded at the iTunes Store.

If you don't plan to upgrade them, I strongly suggest that you use iTunes to burn them to audio CD, so that you have a backup that can be used like any regular audio CD.

Just to clarify: I was not referring to upgrading the PSP! I was referring to upgrading the old "protected" tracks into unprotected iTunes Plus tracks, which can be done for 30 cents each online at the iTunes Store, which I assume is the same place you downloaded the tracks when you first bought them.

For the CD burner, look on the computer where your iTunes library is stored.
