FIRSTCLASS? How???

That was posted months ago. More recent posts on the net seem to indicate that was no longer the issue. Google "firstclass mobile for iPhone".

First, we did manage to get some information from Apple, thanks to an ex-SoftArc employee who is now a manager at Apple. It appears that a large number of applications were not approved in the transition from 2.X OS testing to 3.X OS testing. Accordingly, we resubmitted the FirstClass Mobile Client on the 19th of June. I find that I get notifications to my iPhone within about 2 seconds, on average. It rocks!

Now, there is some even better news: testing is taking place! That's right. Last week Apple logged in to their test account for about 8 minutes, followed by a further two minutes this week!

So, clearly we're making progress. We have not heard any feedback yet (either positive or negative) but of course we will keep you informed as soon as we hear anything.

Finally... thank you Apple.

Come on Apple, if the app has been submitted in March then there is really no excuse for not unleashing it into the wild.

It seems you can get apps to do all sorts of daft things with an iPhone - but something as useful as FirstClass is delayed. WHY????

As I posted earlier today, electrobod, the new FirstClass Mobile Client is now alive and well in the Business section of the App Store.

Well, in the meantime... to answer how to get your emails from FirstClass, you could set FC to forward your mail to another account. I have mine set up to forward to my .mac account. Of course, you don't get access to bulletin boards, but at least it's somethin'

OK, I've been using it for the past couple day and wonder if anyone else has the same issue?

All of my red circles (showing message counts) are empty, no numbers. Anyone else?

Yeah, same. No numbers, just red dots. Somewhere I saw where they were encouraging user reports of bugs. I'll see if I can find it.

Finally, it's here !
But what about port setting ?
My server is using port 119 and not the standard 510 one.
I haven't found how to change this.
Or have I missed something ?

Another thing to improve…
When you have setup the application for a server, it appear on the list.
But how can you delete a setting you don't need anymore ?
