Random green and purple pixels on my Mac display

I have been getting random green and purple pixels on my display.

Here is a screen shot of what I'm talking about.

Can some one help me out?

Mac Pro 2x 2.66 GHz Dual-Core intel Xeon, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I saw the same thing with a new display purchased around 2/2008 and had it replaced under warranty. Now it's out of warranty, and has started displaying the same issue. I notice the monitor gets very warm, and right now turning on the AC seems to calm it down, as does leaving the monitor powered down for a long time (although it quickly reverts to pink/green pixels - within minutes).

So it seems to be affected by temperature.
