iHome 2 go

I have an iHome2go and whenever I plug in my iPhone into the iHome I get the message that says that the product does not support charging on this device. Is there a clock radio that does support the iPhone?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

Most of the older iPod compatible devices charged the iPod that was compatible with the device via firewire, which isn't supported with the iPhone 3G and won't be supported with any future iPhone or iPod models.
