intel gma x3100

hello, i have a couple of questions. I was wondering, would there be an update for GMA x3100 driver? I also want to know is there anyway i can improve the performance with world of warcraft. I know the gma x3100 is not the best for games. I get around 10-20 fps and then at times it will be 40-60 not sure why it changes between numbers. Are there any ways i can get the best fps for the game? The computer is an perfect condition since i had a few years ago, i really don't want to buy a new mac just get a better grapic card.

macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

The only driver updates would be distributed within an OS X system update or upgrade. There are no third-party drivers nor separate driver updates.

In reality the performance is what you get. For better performance you would need to buy a machine with a newer and faster GPU. But you should know that the limitations of notebook computers preclude GPUs the equivalent of those in desktop computers. Intel's integrated graphics chips were never intended for extreme gaming, but the GMA3100 is an improvement over the older GMA950 technology.
