ATT U-verse and Extreme - Need help setting up!!

I have read a lot of the forums, but can't seem to find an answer for my particular situation. (Or maybe I don't know what I'm looking for.)

I hope that someone can help me.

Here is what I have:
ATT U-Verse 2Wire Gateway Modem/Router
AEBS
Canon Printer
External Harddrive
PowerBook G4
iBook G4

Here is what I need, and the problem I need to solve:

ATT U-verse modem/router is hooked up and working great - wireless and everything, but there is no room there (physically) to put my printer and external harddrive.
Is there a way to hook up my printer and external harddrive to my AEBS without connecting any wires to the U-verse modem/router?
If it won't work with the AEBS, what will it work with?

I'm trying to use our printer and harddrive wirelessly for our laptops, and like I said, I can't put it where they put the u-verse. There is no room for it, physically in the apartment.

I hope this makes sense and that someone can help me out.
