Can't change Time on Menu Bar to Full version by going into International

I'm trying to change the format of the clock on menu bar to show hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds, AM/PM and time zone(CST). After going to "International to customize time format, display does not change. Any help would be appreciated.

The menu bar clock is controlled in System Preferences > Date & Time > Clock. Milliseconds and Time Zone are not options. For that you would need a third-party clock or a hack.

Thanks Jeffrey,

In my System Preferences > Date & Time > Clock there is a button halfway down the dialog box that says to make time format changes click "International". In that screen, it gives you the option of using the "Short", "Long" or "Full" format which will give you either Day/Hour/Minutes/AM or PM, Day/Hour/Minutes/Seconds/AM or PM or Day/Hour/Minutes/Seconds/Milliseconds/AM or PM/Time Zone. If they put this in there, why wouldn't I be able to set it like that?

I don't have that button in the Clock tab. It is there in the Date & Time tab. Date & Time pane has three tabs, "Date & Time", "Time Zone", and "Clock". I do not have an international button under Clock.

At the bottom of the Date & Time Pref Pane is an Open International button.

If not just open International Pref Pane>Formats Tab. 🙂
