digital pen? scan and use ocr? or scan and use inkwell?
1. I am still searching for a digital pen that works with OS X, but as a Mac app, not a Win app. Does anyone know if there is such a device? (I understand I can use Windows, but I am more confused by Windows than I am by Mac, and that is a terrible confession to have to make.)
2. Would it just be easier to use pencil and paper, then scan and then use an OCR program? Any recommendations on what program would be best for Mac?
3. I've read that Inkwell is hidden within my OS X 10.5.7, but I need to hook up a tablet to get it started. If it is in fact in OS X, could I use Inkwell to identify my handwriting (once it is scanned in) to create text for documents? How?
Thanks to any and all who try to help me. I'm disabled with limited time at a keyboard and my productivity would skyrocket if I could use an ordinary pad of paper to write things that would eventually be readable text on computer. Please understand you are dealing with a drug-addled mind when writing your solution. Again, my most sincere thanks.
