Multitouch gestures and function keys aren't working

Everything was fine, multitouch gestures and function keys were fine, but I had to revert windows\system32\config\system file due to a power failure.
I reverted it and had to reinstall my drivers. I had to get Boot Camp drivers from a flash drive (got a stuck CD), I installed them, but touchpad and keyboard weren't working. I rolled back to Windows drivers and the problem appeared. How do I re-enable multitouch gestures and function keys? Is it because KbdMgr.exe thinks those aren't original Apple touchpads and keyboard?

' Which release & version of Windows are you running here? And I'm assuming this is native BootCamp and not some VM?
' Have you tried (assuming you have a Windows that has the feature and give you the option) running an automated system-check and repair (and thereafter running through the typical BootCamp installation process again as though the system were newly installed)???

' Have you tried uninstalling EACH AND EVERY REMOTELY RELATED driver and reinstalling via the BootCamp wizard?

' Have you tried combining BOTH of the processes described above (i.e. first remove all the drivers as per item 2, then trying the automated check&repair, etc. etc.)???

' Afraid I've never had this specific trouble with BootCamp and Windows myself - so I'm just guessing here - these are things I myself would have tried by now if I'd hit a dead-end with any low-level driver related issues and hardware on Windows...
