SyncMaster P2250 and changing brightness using apple keyboard. How to?

Hello

I have just bought Samsung SyncMaster 22" P2250 and new Mac Mini. So far it works really great though I think it takes time to switch from small macbook display to such a huge and bright LCD.

My question is: How can I change brightness of the screen using my keyboard (the new apple one)?
I am able to control the brightness using the touch screen button on the display but when I press two buttons on the keyboard nothing happens, even the small icons that indicate gradient don't show up...

Oh and I have impressing that letters are little bit fussy - not very crisp and sharp as on my iMac is there any way to calibrate it?

Samsung doesn't make the required DDC/CI driver for Mac OS X. They only make a driver for Windows. WIthout a driver, the keyboard brightness control can't be made to work.

About the monitor looking fuzzy, if it is hooked up by VGA, try the tuning function of the monitor to and see if clarity improves. Also, check that under System Preferences/Appearance that "Medium - best for Flat Panel" is the selected choice for font smoothing.
