Use Without Earbuds
Can the new shuffle be controlled without the earbuds? I am interested in using it through the aux input in my car.

Can anyone confirm whether the headphone controls work through a splitter? It could forsee it working if headphones are attached to one side and auxiliary to the other.
The earphone control does NOT work through a splitter...period.
There is an extra wire from the heaphone plug to the switch.
A splitter simply has Ground/Left/Right and would not have the extra wire.
