Omnigraffle display corruption

Hey guys, I’m seeing weird graphical corruption with Omnigraffle 5.1.1. I’ve spoken to Omnigroup’s support ninjas and they’re out of ideas – best they can suggest is overheating, problems with running 2 displays, or a driver bug. I don’t think it’s a heat problem (iStat Nano reports a not-too-bad 56ºc) and unplugging my second monitor doesn’t resolve it.

What’s the best way of reporting this issue directly to Apple so that the driver angle can be looked at? For what it’s worth I’m running an alu iMac with a Radeon HD2600.

Further info on the corruption if that’s helpful: it generally happens when the document I’m working on is zoomed in to the point that it’s larger than the available space in the window. It generally (although not always) takes the form of 10x10 (ish) blocks of content of portions of the screen scattered in a random pattern across the document. A redraw of teh window (resize, etc) causes the artifacts to change but not to go away.

It would be best for OmniGroup to report the issue to Apple through their developer channels. Omnigroup can work directly with Apple developer support to identify the cause and determine a solution.

If you want, though, you can report the issue to Apple through their feedback pages:

http://www.apple.com/feedback/

but the issue will get more attention if Omnigroup reports it themselves.

For what it's worth, I have OG 5.1.1 on an iMac with the ATI 2600 and dual displays and have not noticed any graphic corruption, though I have used OG only very lightly. Not to denigrate Omnigroup's tech support, but perhaps if you can describe the problem in more detail - how it appears, if it seems to be related to any particular type, size or content of document, etc. - someone here might have an idea.

Regards.
