Hi all!

I don't know if this is the right place to ask help for this stuff, but I'm giving it a go anyways...

I've been wanting to connect my MacBook Pro to my TV for a while, but has been overwhelmed and then confused by all the different adapters. Thing is, my TV has HDMI, but not DVI... I was thinking about using VGA, but then I'll have to get the audio through my TV with another cable...

Does anyone have any idea on how to do this? It would be greatly appreciated...

Oh and I should probably let you know that I have a MacBook Pro unibody which means I only have a Mini DisplayPort...

Hi again!

I ended up getting everything I needed from monoprice.com: The MDP-HDMI adapter, an HDMI extension cable and an audio cable...

I got it yesterday and 2 minutes later it was all hooked up! The quality is way better than expected! The stuff I watched yesterday from my computer onto my TV looked much better on TV than on the computer - I actually didn't know that what I was watching was in such great quality until I connected it to my TV.

So I'm definitely happy about my purchase! And I thank everyone for helping me out! 😉 And by the way, monoprice.com is awesome - fast delivery and package tracking all the way to my door basically (I always love it when I know specifically which day the package post man arrives... 😉 )..

If it wasn't for this weather, I'd be watching TV right now... :P Thanks guys - and especially thanks to Travis!
