Will the iPhone 3G S be sold without a contract?

Could someone share what they know about this, the more details the better 🙂

Read again. He was talking about phones sold in Hong Kong, where officially unlocked phones are allowed.

yep... i'm in Hong Kong and most people are buying them from the authorized distributors here (no apple store in HK yet 😟 ) - which are all unlocked and free to go anywhere in the world! even phones bought on our exclusive carrier are unlocked.

I guess I have to wait until next month (July) until it will out in Hong Kong. I hope it's not going to be too expensive. I'm thinking about getting 32GB 🙂

Does it matter where I activate my iPhone? Do I have to activate it in Hong Kong or I can just do it in the States?
