Well I've been wondering, where can I download FREE iDVD 4 templates, buttons, etc. NEED HELP! PS

I have encountered the same problem in iDVD 5. There are websites that is not great but it will get th job done called:

Theme Machine was a company that created and sold iDVD themes. Early in the year they went out of business and just before shutting down the web site, they made all their themes available for free. I managed to grab 12 of them (I waited too long to get the rest and the page closed). They are not the greatest themes in the world, most being rather simple, but the price is right so why not?

Due to limited web space, I can not list all 12 at once. In a few days I will switch to the other 6. Get them now!

Last night I looked thru a few older backup DVDs and CDRs because I thought I might have some others, and I did run across two more of the free Theme Machine iDVD themes. So that is 14 in total. The first six are still up and I will be changing those to the other six plus the two (so eight more total) whenever I think people want me to.
Are people downloading these? I wonder if Verizon will shut it off for a while if I exceed some bandwidth limit (like Geocities and other free sites often do). Anyway, if people have already grabbed the 6 and are waiting for the others, I can change them over to the other 8 sooner rather than later. People just have to speak up.

I haven't even opened the zip files to check them out, but figured I'd grab them in case there are any useful ones.

Yes but not tried them yet, how do you put one into iDVD and how would you remove it please?

After unstuffing you place them in your User/Library/iDVD/Favorites folder. To uninstall just move them out of that folder.

OK iDVD'rs, second set of 6 is now posted. Same URL as before...

OK, now I'm confused. I dutifully downloaded the themes, unstuffed them, and went to place them into my User/Library/iDVD/Favorite file.

Aha. I don't have one. I don't even have a User/Library/iDVD/ file. I have onen for iMovie, but not iDVD. Any idea what's going on?

Susan, I am not at home right now to check, but instead of going into your User folder, try the top level library/iDVD etc... folder structure. I think since iDVD is meant to be available to all users on the system, things like themes are loaded there instead of in your specific user folder.
