battery life reduced ti 94% in just 128 cycles!

Hi,

My macbook is 6 months old and I have had 128 charge cycles so far. The battery life has reduced to 94% (3845 mAh) from the original 4100 mAh.

I recalibrated my battery yesterday using the procedure provided on this website here... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490

However, there is no change. This loss of battery life is indicated in 3 different places... the System Profilers, Battery health monitor and iStat Nano widget.

What can I d to save my battery from eventual death?

MacBook5,1, Mac OS X (10.5.7),  rocks!

Ace..

A few notes. 1. apple does not read these forums, they are simply peer to peer.

2. you battery life seems spot on. Apple suggests that your battery will be around 80% after 300 cycles.

3. if you concern is "why did my health decrease after calibration"..calibrating your battery resets your battery to more accurately indicate to you the % of total life and % of cycle life (meaning it's more accurate when it says "3:15 remaining" or "94% health"). So by calibrating your battery, it decreased, because it was able to give you a more accurate percentage of health, not because calibrating decreased your battery health by that percentage
