iTunes won't let me log in

Ok, I upgraded to 3.0 OS yesterday afternoon, and had no problems until last night. I went to upgrade my apps where applicable, but every time I try to log into the store it tells me my password is wrong. When indeed it is not. I'm logged in on my laptop and I can buy songs using my AIM screen name fine. But on my iPhone it won't allow me to. Anyone know how to fix this or getting the same problem?

PC, iPhone OS 3.0, Running Vista

Same thing is happening to me on my iPod touch, my guess is that the Apple servers are overloaded and just are denying access, but idk

I am having the same problem. I tried retrieving my password and was told that my ID was not valid. It appears that the "new" app store is not recognizing itunes accounts that login with AIM user names. I was able to login without trouble on my computer via itunes.

I'm unable to login into my iTunes account on my iPhone due " incorrect password", yet I use the same username and password on my MacBook, and it works!

Because of that I can't purchase or update anything on my iPhone.

exactly the same thing....well- ALWAYS with the iphone 3GS plugged in- and ALWAYS while attempting to create a ringtone...

itunes keeps telling me the PW is wrong AND i'm already logged into the itunes store....

bizarre....
