iPhone 3G S has yellowish tint

I just got my iPhone 3G S today and noticed that it has a distinctly yellowish tint to the screen. Doesn't matter what app I am using, and I've tried adjusting the brightness with no success.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

15" Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6), iPhone 3G S

No problem...

Also for info purposes. My wife's 3Gs which has no yellow tint.

Factory: 88 (Shenzhen, China)
Production week: 27 (July)
Production number: 19080 (within this week)

i think i read that the yellow versions have a better contrast than the bluish screen? what have you heard about color variances affecting this?

Just received my Iphone 3GS, from Verona, Italy.
It is week 22.
My screen seems to be a good one.
Maybe I'm just lucky.

What is the best way to test the color/contrast? And overall screen quality. Or is it all subjective?

Wonderful!!! I am completely satisfied with my phone. The screen is sharp, perfect contrast, even brightness over the entire screen.
