iPhone 3G S has yellowish tint

I just got my iPhone 3G S today and noticed that it has a distinctly yellowish tint to the screen. Doesn't matter what app I am using, and I've tried adjusting the brightness with no success.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

15" Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6), iPhone 3G S

I agree with you. apple seems horrible in quality latelly. anyway I was wondering if any1 has the week 21 from factory 84. if you do how is your screen thanks.

I have a factory 87 week 28 and it is warmer than a friends 3g. It is fine except that it a little more warm/yellow on the bottom 1/3 on the screen.

I just looked my iPhone up.

Factory: 86 (China)
Production year: 2009
Production week: 24 (June)
Production number: 392 (within this week)

Slightly yellow at the bottom of the screen.

The one on the right is pretty much what mine looks like. Slightly yellow in the bottom rows, but the top would be considered fine if it wasn't being compared side by side with an older 3G...

OMG now they are turning PINK!

I heard in Ireland they have a huge problem with "Green" tint on the Phone!

Well I'm going back to the apple store to fix the brightness issue. On the left is my wife at 100% on the right is mine.

I've also noticed on mine its much yellower when only ever so slightly off dead centre, square on. Even slightly off centre and the yellow tinge starts.

So, just curious, if we return the phone due to screen yellowing (or any other issue), does the 10% restocking fee apply?

I just checked my contrast. On my 2G I can see all of the blocks. On my 3GS I can only see the bottom two rows of blocks. Does anyone have a 3GS screen better then this?
