I don't really know if this goes here or not but I hope it does. I have the new Macbook Pro computer and I bought Call of Duty 4. I installed it and try to open it and it says "Not Authorized". I go to read the instructions and it says that I need to enter the key code during installation. Where do I do that. I had no dialog box pop up asking for it or anything. I know what the code is but I don't know where to put it so I can play the game. Please help.
Yea I know where the code is I just don't know where to put it. I also downloaded the the update for the game and tried installing that and it said that the game was not installed correctly...I don't understand how I wouldn't have worked when all you do is drag and drop. Pretty confused at the moment.
Sounds like you are trying to run a game from its optical disk rather than your hard drive. Open you Applications folder and make sure the game got moved to your hard drive. Double-click on the version of the game on your hard drive to launch.
Registration key entry fields usually come up the first time you launch the game off the hard drive.
No I am 100 percent sure I am clicking on the file I installed from the CD. And then the dialog box comes up and reads "not authorized". I don't have a clue.
Turns out from what I have read that I have a bad disc from one of the early batches. So it was a fail from the start. So all I need to do is send my disc to aspyr and they will send me a new one that actually works.
