iPhone 3G S - YouTube over Wifi issue (Please help me verify this)

Hello.

This is happening on my iPhone 3G S on WiFi. It does not happen to my iPhone 3G either on Wifi or 3G.

I need to see if others are having the same issue to see if it's a bug or if my phone is defective. On YouTube (WiFi only) my iPhone 3G S will only load a minute to a minute of half of video and it quits loading. What happens is the phone will play up until that point and then suddenly it stops playing and pauses. When you look at the controls for YouTube it shows that it has played all of the downloaded data.

I tested with my old iPhone 3G on the *very same* Wifi and it does not have this issue and both are running iPhone OS 3.0. I really need somebody else with an iPhone 3G S to verify this issue for me (or tell me that it doesn't happen to them).

Here is a video that I am having trouble with so you can test yourself:

Please test with your iPhone 3G S and post here and let me know.

It's a miracle. As suggested by others, I changed the Wireless Mode from _mixed 802.11b and 802.11g_ to _802.11g only_ on my Westell 327W DSL wireless router and the YouTube freezing problem went away. Here's how you can make that change on the above Verizon or FairPoint provided router. Other wireless routers should have similar settings.
1- In your browser, enter the URL * http://dslrouter/* and you should connect to your router's configuration menu. If required, your router's login and password are likely both admin.
2- Within the upper tabs, select *Wireless Settings*. Your _Wireless Mode_ likely says _Mixed accepts 802.11b and 802.11g connections_
3- On the left side, select *Advanced Security Settings*.
4- Near the bottom of the main screen, select *802.11b/g Mode*
5- Change the 802.11b/g Mode: from _Mixed mode (both 802.11b and 802.11g)_ to _802.11g only_
6- After about 5 seconds, select again *Wireless Settings*. Your _Wireless Mode_ should now say _11g only_
7- Close your browser window and test your iPhone 3GS with a multi-minute YouTube video. It shouldn't freeze.
