I have to submit a paper and i have my data on a table, and then i graphed it. I only need to submit the graph, but i can't hide or remove the table without affecting the chart. When i delete the table, the chart is also removed.
I have read in the forums that some say that the table can be placed in a separate page, but im going to export it to pdf, so thats not an option for me. 🙂
i cant seem to find it in the tutorials or in the manual. :o
+But is it possible to get only the graph if and not the table?+
j,
Yvan already answered this question for you but you may not have understood. Yvan suggested that you place your Table and your Chart on separate pages, then print only the page with the Chart.
You can do this by switching to the Print View in Numbers: View > Show Print View
Now drag your table to the right or downward to a blank page. The blank pages are shaded until you place some content on them.
Then File > Print and use the Expanded Print Menu. The Expanded Print Menu is the one with lots of options. If you don't see options for printing only certain pages, you are in the collapsed menu and you need to click the triangle to the right of the Printer Selector.
Now use the arrow buttons in the Preview on the left to determine which page number your chart is on and set the print range to print that page only.
