Final cut pro capture crash

Pulling my hair out with this one.

Never had a problem capturing from my Canon XHA1 until now. Suddenly every time I click log and capture the loading bar appears and then the program crashes. It only says that it may be the nsTODimporter plug in. Looked for this everywhere, but cant find it.
Has anyone got any suggestions. Thanks in advance
