do you use apple mail for listserv digests?
Hi
One of my listserv digests that I get regularly appears to be made up of multiple .eml files; I can tell by going to the web mail for my host and see each post in a list. The email within a particular .eml file looks fine.
In apple mail though, I'm missing parts of the message many times. In apple mail all of the messages are combined into 1 message one after another. When I see an original post the main part of the message is missing. For example here's part of a message. There are several blank lines then part of the message and the sign off:
http://aaa.com/web/aaaa.html

I know that this is messed up because later someone quoted this message. In that message I can see what was supposed to be in the blank lines. Here's part of that as an example:
Found a great website that allows you to generate jargon for those moments
when you need to baffle folks with your technical brilliance, and I
thought I'd share!
http://aaaaa.com/....
This happens A LOT in just the digests from these listservs. The digests from another list are ok.
I'm wondering if this is some kind of glitch with the data detectors in mail? Sometimes I also get funny html-like codes in the email messages in these digests, too. Like "=20" at the ends of the lines....but I'm not sure if this is related.
Can anyone help me understand what is going on or how to fix or avoid this?
Thanks!
Tracy
