I excitedly upgraded to iPhone 3.0 hoping I could throw away my cords forever and listen to music through my bluetooth-capable pioneer stereo. Did the update, rushed out to the car, synced up (all good so far) banged on my current fave tune, and cranked it. The song started, I gushed with delight for about 10 seconds then ... a little break in the music, a slight stutter. Huh? It happened again about 5 seconds later, then again, and again, every 5 to 10 seconds. Aaaaargh! Not a fade out, but a micropause. The song starts again where it left off, rather than missing a bit.
It's good enough for podcasts, but NOT GOOD ENOUGH for music. What's going on? Can anyone help me?

Why has this gone so long w/o an update? The iPhone does not work properly on any bluetooth car kits that I've tried but other bluetooth audio tranmitting devices work fine. The kits pair with the iPhone but the audio sometimes will stutter, which is in no way acceptable. If it's an "interference" issue, I'd like to know what that is, and why the iPhone is the only one that can't handle it.
Another JVC KD-BT1 user here. Works fine with a Nokia N95 8GB, but not happy with the iPhone for the audio streaming (phone calls work fine though).
Problem still exists on 3.1 software.
I've not tried switching off the wireless on the iPhone, so will give that a go. However the clash between Bluetooth and 802.11 Wireless on the 2.4GHz frequency has been a known issue for over 7 years and I can't believe that Apple didn't include co-existence in the implementation.
A reply to this issue on another forum suggested that the bitrate of some music was too high for the Bluetooth interface of the receiving device, hence the skipping. But I've not seen that suggested anywhere on this thread.
My story is very similar to those on the post. I purchased a VW Gol sport 09 recently and at the time I only could make/receive calls. When the 3.0 update came along I was so happy that there was no need of buying a radio dock to listed to my music anymore... and surprise! it worked but with so many skips that it was annoying to listened to the music.
I made many tests like using the sony ericson speaker (one that looks like a ball) and it worked perfect. I went to the Dealership and told them about my problem and they agreed to be something with my phone because they used another phone to test it out and it worked (no skips).
Now I had hope with the WiFi post! I went back to my car to try it and didn’t work!
Please help!
ps. for those of you that wish to buy and adapter and cannot wait for apple to resolve this issue there is a Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod that gets the job done. I seen it work

I really doubt it considering that I also stream internet radio through the stereo bluetooth which, since I am using a free version, puts out a very low bitrate (64kbps). Same stuttering issue.
