Aperture crashes when exporting.

This happens now all the time, with different- projects, computers and hard drives.
My Managed Library lives on an external drive, and I am using the latest version software. When exporting selected versions (resizing on export - In order to use for uploading to a server or to print) from a project, the application will crash nine times of ten. It might do so after exporting five images or one hundred.
The projects themselves are varied in size, the Images might originate from as many as five or six cameras ( both Nikon & Canon) shooting both raw (NEF) and Jpegs. The export however for our purposes, is of Jpegs.
The Aperture Library might be large or very small on one hard drive or another - This matters not.
I have both checked consistency and rebuilt the Libraries to no avail ..
Any Ideas ?

Not sure if this helps anyone or not but... I started having the same crashing problems exporting images. I removed all plugins and still crashed. Then I notice that a few of the images I was exporting were from a web gallery album. I had dragged them over to the export temporary album from the web album thinking they are just pointers to the original. As soon as I removed those and use the originals from the project it worked. Again not sure if this help anyone but thought I would share.
