How long does it take to ship?

I ordered my white 16GB iPhone 3GS on the 17th and just not the status changed to "Prepared for Shipment". I hope it ships out today! Keep updating your status with this forum topic guys!

I ordered my iPhone 3GS Black 16 GB on July 1st and it's still categorized as "Not yet shipped" on the Apple Store. I ordered mine through the 1800-Apple number. Standard shipping. Hoping it comes soon!

i called the order status line 877.782.8870 and mine shipped today. Supposed to be delivered by 3pm tomorrow via fedex.

So ordered on june 27th shipped on july 6th

By the way, i checked the order status website from the link in my order reciept and it still says processing. So i would call the number I posted above for a more accurate assesment

Just thought I'd drop by with my status. I had a rep at the AT&T store order mine for me on Thursday July 2nd (16gb black) and this morning it says shipped!. I was given a tracking number for FedEx which says it should be delivered tomorrow to the AT&T store before 3pm. My guess for the fast turn around is because it's a bulk shipment. Many other iPhones are being ordered for that store so they might have put a higher priority on it than individual orders.

Update: I finally received an email this evening from AT&T today with a FedEx tracking number (I placed my order on 6/29).

Mine is still "Prepared for Shipment" and I ordered it on the 27th. DX

It just shipped today and it should arrive on thursday! Yay!

I guess right now the fastest way when ordering is through an AT&T store.

Hey did anyone order a black 32gb from apple.com around june 30th? if so has it shipped or had its status changed recently?

Ditto, mine is shipped and should arrive Thursday.

So assuming it comes on time that's 10.5 days or so from order to in hand.

I ordered on 6/26 and I didn't get my "confirm" email till late Monday and then an order notice on the Tuesday - which said my iPhone had been backordered. It finally shipped yesterday though by standard overnight and should be with me some time today.
