How long does it take to ship?

im in the same boat. i ordered on the 30th and it still shows not yet shipped.

Ok, that's different that you ordering it online and having it delivered to you house (what I'm waiting on)

Why is everyone ordering them off the online Apple store? Why not just go get them from the retail store?

Is it because of all the problems, you want them fresh off the line?

I bought mine online because I wanted the 16gb black and the availability showed that the only Apple store around was out of stock of the black. Ironically they have restocked already so if I'd have waited I would have mine by now. If I would have realized it would take this long I would have tried harder to get one at the store, this is ridiculous.

I have a genius bar appointment this afternoon for my 3G. The case is cracked, so I expect it to swapped out. I also have a 3GS on order, but it hasn't shipped yet. My Apple store is supposed to the the Black 32gb 3GS in stock, so I may cancel my on line order and buy it from the store. Of course, there's always the possibility the the one on order would be from a newer batch, but Apple always makes good on warranty so I don't see any risk.

So I now have a new 3GS and a new or refurbished 3g. The whole thing went smoothly.

it still says not yet shipped

I ordered the 32gb white 3Gs from the online apple store at 5:00AM CST on 6/27. The closest apple store is 4 1/2 hours away and the closest at&t store was giving a 14 day wait list. Mine still hasn't shipped. I'm hoping it will ship monday. My original delivery date was July 5th-9th but is now pushed back to the 9th-14th!!! I'm soooo impatient as well because I JUST DROPPED my original 1st gen iPhone 2 days after ordering my new one and I cant disconnect calls or text! Hoping it will get here sooner than later, especially with the add'l $10 expedited shipping.

I ordered mine off the AT&T premier busines site and also ordered a new blackberry for my wife on June 27th. I still do not have a tracking number. Still says processing.

I called on Friday or Saturday and they said it was on back order.

Mine was the 32gb black one and I think it was harder to get.

Hope it comes this week.

Wow, several people in this thread who ordered through AT&T's website AFTER me have already received tracking info. My order has been "processing" since the day I placed the order on 6/29. Did the people who ordered through AT&T get an email confirmation after it shipped or no?
