Can Bass damage your computer?

Hello, I have a macbook pro with a pair of Bose Companion 3 series 2 computer speakers. The bass module is on the floor about 3 feet away from the laptop. I was wondering if the bass vibrations could damage my computer especially the hard drive since while playing music, i can feel the mac slightly vibrating. Any precautions or sugestions that i should take? Thanks.

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.7), 2.53 uniboby 4 Gb Ram 320 HDD

You could reduce the bass or turn the volume down or both, but I wouldn't bother. Considering the number of people who use their notebook computers every day in moving buses, planes, trains and cars, I suspect there's very, very little chance that the vibration from your music is going to do your MBP any harm at all.
