Lost Documents
I bought my first MAC in March. I was pretty smug because I transferred from my old XP Desktop all of desired documents, bookmarks, email, music and photos. I did not back up to time machine. All of my documents were in my home folder. Now I can't find my documents.
The only thing I did that I think may have caused a problem was use 3rd party software to restore my 12 gig ipod music, because when I synched it with this new computer I lost my CD loaded library. The third party software was successful.
The only documents I can find are those I created on the MAC. I still have all my photos, bookmarks, email and music. It is interesting all of my phtos show up in my documents folder as well as the photos folder.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
