IPhone 3GS messaging problem

Of the six people I know who have a new iPhone, none of them (including me) are having any trouble sending texts. I'd call AT&T.

hey I have exactly the same problem and it is very very anoying -.- can anyone tell me how to solve this???? because i am getting tired of it

My bet is, it's s system problem, NOT your phone.

I have the same problem periodically...Anyone else? Trying to find out if it's my phone or everones got a glitch

I'm having the same problem. I have an iphone 3G and before the OS 3 upgrade, while sending text messages the bar at the top reaches about 90% and stops but this happened sometimes. Usually the message was sent. BUT, now after the OS 3 upgrade i can't text to some people while i can text some people. I've had this problem since the OS 3 upgrade. I tried calling my courier and they said something in the sms settings was changed. I don't live in the US. Also i tried restoring 4 times and still the same.

I had the same problem. I could be wrong but I beleive it has something to do with the 3G network because as soon as I disabled 3G on my phone the problem went away. Hopefully that helps temporarily till AT&T or Apple (or both depending on the cause of the problem) get the fix.

I just spent an hour on the phone with Apple and AT&T. We are having this problem with 3 brand now 3Gs phones. Texts start to send, get frozen around 90%, and then fail. We're also having lots of problems with dropped calls. AT&T says we're "in between two cell phone towers", but my old 3G phone has no problem at all calling or sending/receiving texts. I'm contemplating returning the phones. It's clearly not an AT&T problem if the 3G phone works and the 3GS phones don't.

I just got an Iphone 3Gs and i do not have a problem receiving or sending messages but my conversations are not being saved in my message box. they disappear after i read them. can someone help me with this
