printing a calendar page with wider margin on the left

First, this should be built into iCal and it's not, so send feedback to Apple iCal at: http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html

Now quit iCal.
In Safari choose Page Setup... under the File menu
Select your Printer under "Format for:"
Under "Paper Size:" select "Custom Size" at the bottom of the list.
Click on the Plus symbol ➕ to create a custom size.
It should default to 8.5 x 11
Give this a name by double clicking on "Untitled" (eg Calendar Margin)
Set the left margin to 1 or 1.25 (or whatever you want).
Click OK

Open iCal
Select Print
Under "Paper;" select your new paper.
Carry on

It just prints off the page. I fear I am doing something really stupid as usual!

There isn't a paper size under the section
I can only find this on Pageset up

But it still doesn't do it!

I use this paper size for most of my Pages files - no problem.

Well tell us what your setting were for the custom paper size. I was able to make this work without a hitch so I suspect something didn't get set right.

Is it possible to print this onto a page 83 mm x 126 mm ?

If you have paper and a printer that can handle it, give it a try. I don't see why not.

Dave, I'm sorry. I see you're on Panther so I can't really be sure as I don't have Panther any more.

I had the impression that syncing etc was a wee bit difficult with Tiger and thought I should wait a while before upgrading. I'm a man of humble means n.b. iMac G3 😉
